Información sobre este vino:

Etna Bianco DOC «Anthemis» is a white wine from the Monteleone winery, made with Carricante grapes grown on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna, in the municipality of Sant’Alfio, at an altitude of between 700 and 900 meters above sea level. This wine reflects the essence of the Etna Denominazione di Origine, a renowned wine region worldwide. The grapes are hand-harvested in the early hours of the morning and transported to the winery in small 10 kg crates. After destemming, a gentle pressing is carried out and, after 48 hours of decantation, the must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine matures for 12 months in French oak tonneaux of 500 and 300 liters, with weekly batonnage, and then rests for 8 months in bottle before being released to the market.

In the glass, Etna Bianco DOC «Anthemis» shows a bright straw-yellow color with greenish highlights, reflecting its youth and vitality. On the nose, it offers a medium intensity with aromas of citrus fruits, elderflower, and broom, accompanied by subtle mineral notes that add depth and complexity. On the palate, it is well-balanced and harmonious, with a fleshy structure and fresh acidity that provides a refreshing sensation. Its persistent finish makes it an easy-to-drink wine that is very enjoyable.

This wine is ideal for pairing with fried fish, grilled swordfish fillets, white fish soups, steamed seafood, and fresh cheeses. It is recommended to serve it between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities. With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., Etna Bianco DOC «Anthemis» offers an excellent value for money, making it a great choice for enjoying meals with friends and family.
