Información sobre este vino:

Rosso di Montalcino «Col d’Orcia» is a red wine from the Col d’Orcia winery, one of the most prestigious in the wine region of Montalcino, in the Italian region of Tuscany. This wine is made with Sangiovese grapes grown using organic farming methods on the hill of Sant’Angelo, 250 meters above sea level, with a south exposure that promotes optimal ripening of the grapes. After the harvest, the grapes are fermented with maceration on the skins for 10–12 days in 150-hectoliter stainless steel tanks, designed to efficiently extract tannins and color. The wine then matures for 9 months in Slavonian oak barrels of different capacities, which gives it complexity and elegance. Finally, it is bottled and left to rest for a few months before being marketed.

In the glass, Rosso di Montalcino «Col d’Orcia» shows a deep ruby-red color with violet reflections, a sign of its youth and vitality. On the nose, it offers medium intensity with aromas of fresh red fruits, such as cherry and blackberry, accompanied by subtle spicy and toasted notes that add depth and complexity. On the palate, it is balanced and harmonious, with a fleshy structure and well-integrated tannins that provide a velvety feel. Its fresh acidity and persistent finish make it an easy-to-drink and highly enjoyable wine.

This wine is ideal for pairing with cured meats, nuts, salads, pasta, and white meats. It is recommended to serve it between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities. With an alcohol content of 14.5% vol., Rosso di Montalcino «Col d’Orcia» offers an excellent value for money, making it a great choice for enjoying meals with friends and family.
