Información sobre este vino:
Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria DOP is a red wine from the San Marzano winery, a gem from the Apulia region, Italy. This wine is made exclusively with Primitivo grapes from vineyards over 60 years old, grown using the traditional alberello system, which gives it a unique personality and an unmatched depth of flavor.
After manual harvesting in the second half of September, the grapes are fermented in barrels at a controlled temperature of 24–26°C for approximately two months. Subsequently, the wine matures for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, adding complexity and elegance.
In the glass, it shows an intense, elegant ruby red color. On the nose, it offers complex and fruity aromas, with notes of ripe plums, black cherries, and juicy blackberries, enriched by subtle hints of chocolate, vanilla, and a touch of spices. On the palate, it is a robust, velvety wine, with noble tannins and a long finish that perfectly harmonizes the fruity and spicy facets.
This wine is ideal for pairing with red meats, game, and hearty pasta dishes. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 18°C to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities. With an alcohol content of 14.5% vol., the Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria DOP is an excellent choice for those seeking an authentic and sophisticated winemaking experience.
