Información sobre este vino:
Pinot Bianco Riserva «Vorberg» is a white wine from the Terlan winery, a gem from the Alto Adige region in Italy. This wine embodies the essence of the Alto Adige DOC Denominazione di Origine, an oenological area recognized for its elegance and complexity. Made with Pinot Bianco grapes hand-selected, this wine reflects the dedication and care of the Terlan winery in every bottle.
After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and slowly fermented in large oak barrels at controlled temperature. Afterwards, the wine matures for 12 months on its fine lees in traditional wooden barrels, giving it exceptional complexity and depth. This meticulous winemaking process results in a medium-bodied wine with a dense, intense structure, characterized by its minerality and persistence on the palate.
In the glass, Pinot Bianco Riserva «Vorberg» shows a bright golden-yellow color with greenish highlights, reflecting its youth and vitality. On the nose, it offers medium intensity with aromas of ripe fruits such as melon, white peach, pear, and Golden Delicious apple, accompanied by notes of quince jelly, chamomile, and pineapple, as well as subtle mineral hints of flint. This aromatic complexity is due to the combination of fruity, floral, and mineral components found in this wine.
On the palate, it is well balanced and harmonious, with a fleshy structure and well-integrated tannins that provide a velvety feel. Its fresh acidity and persistent finish make it an easy-to-drink and highly enjoyable wine. The interaction between the fruity, aromatic, and saline components is repeated on the palate, where the soft, creamy elements gain strength in a wine with a mineral, spiced character that lingers in the aftertaste.
This wine is ideal for pairing with fish dishes, seafood, white meats, and high-quality vegetarian cuisine. It is recommended to serve it between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities. With an alcohol content of 14% vol., Pinot Bianco Riserva «Vorberg» offers an excellent value for money, making it a great choice for enjoying meals with friends and family.
