Información sobre este vino:
Boca DOC Le Piane is a red wine from the Le Piane winery, from the Piedmont region of Italy. This wine is made primarily with Nebbiolo and Vespolina grapes—indigenous varieties that bring exceptional complexity and elegance. After a manual harvest, the grapes are fermented in contact with the skins for 30 days, using both oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks, with daily manual pump-overs. Subsequently, the wine matures in oak barrels for 3–4 years and is refined in bottle for an additional year before being commercialized.
In the glass, Boca DOC Le Piane shows an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections, reflecting its depth and complexity. On the nose, it offers a symphony of aromas evoking ripe red fruits, such as raspberries and cherries, intertwined with floral notes of violet and spicy hints of licorice and tobacco, which add an additional dimension to its aromatic profile. On the palate, it is both elegant and robust, with a well-integrated tannic structure that provides a velvety feel, while its balanced acidity gives it freshness and longevity. The finish is long and slightly bitter, inviting you to enjoy another tasting.
This wine is ideal to pair with pasta and risotto dishes with meat or game ragù, as well as rice dishes and aged cheeses. It is recommended to serve it between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius in order to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities. With an alcohol content of 14% vol., Boca DOC Le Piane offers an excellent value for money, making it a great choice for enjoying meals with friends and family.
