Brunello di Montalcino «Col d’Orcia» is a red wine from the prestigious Col d’Orcia winery, located in the Montalcino region, Tuscany, Italy. This wine is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, manually selected to ensure its superior quality. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and partially crushed, with a high proportion of whole berries, and fermented at controlled temperature in 30,000-liter stainless-steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine matures for 12 months in barrels made of French and American oak, giving it exceptional complexity and elegance.
In the glass, Brunello di Montalcino «Col d’Orcia» shows a cherry-red color with violet edges and a medium layer, reflecting its youth and vitality. On the nose, it offers a medium intensity with aromas of fresh red fruits, accompanied by subtle spicy and toasted notes that add depth and complexity. On the palate, it is well-balanced and harmonious, with a fleshy structure and well-integrated tannins that provide a velvety feel. Its fresh acidity and persistent finish make it an easy-to-drink and very enjoyable wine.

Grapes harvested in the Mendavia area from plots located between 300 and 600 meters of altitude. Perfectly balanced vineyards allow grapes to be harvested in optimal state of ripeness. Low yields per hectare make it possible to obtain a concentrated, aromatic wine.
Selected grapes, destemmed and partially crushed, with a high proportion of whole berries, with a maceration time of 15-20 days, with daily pump-overs. Controlled fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at 23-26°C. Aged for 2 years in French and American oak barrels, followed by refinement in bottle.
