Información sobre este vino:
Poppone is a red wine from the Italian winery Antonutti, an oenological gem that reflects the richness and diversity of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia terroir. This wine is made from a careful selection of native grapes, mainly Merlot and Pignolo, which provide exceptional complexity and depth to the finished product.
In the glass, Poppone shows a deep ruby-red color, almost impenetrable, that hints at the intense aromas that unfold on the nose. The first contact reveals generous notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, accompanied by spicy nuances of vanilla and black pepper—a result of its refined aging in oak barrels that enrich its bouquet.
On the palate, this wine is characterized by an extraordinary balance, with a tannic structure that is well integrated and an acidity that ensures its freshness and longevity. The finish is persistent, leaving a pleasant sensation of warmth and complexity that invites you to keep tasting.
Ideal for pairing with hearty dishes such as roast red meats, game, and aged cheeses, Poppone turns every meal into a special occasion. Its meticulous vinification and long maturation make it a perfect choice for connoisseurs seeking a red with character and great expressiveness.
Thanks to its aging potential, this wine can be enjoyed from its release or left to rest in your cellar to reveal, over time, new facets of its rich aromatic profile.
