Información sobre este vino:
Talò Primitivo di Manduria is a red wine from the San Marzano winery, a wine cooperative founded in 1962 by 19 winegrowers in the Puglia region of Italy. This wine embodies the essence of Salento, an area known for its winemaking tradition and its Mediterranean climate, ideal for growing the Primitivo grape.
Made with 100% Primitivo grapes, this wine is characterized by an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. After a thermo-controlled maceration of approximately 10 days, the alcoholic fermentation takes place using selected yeasts. The wine then matures for 6 months in French and American oak barrels, giving it a remarkable structure and aromatic complexity.
On the nose, Talò Primitivo di Manduria offers opulent aromas of ripe cherries and plums, complemented by pleasant notes of cocoa and vanilla. On the palate, it presents as a robust-bodied wine, softened by the warm character of Primitivo, culminating in a finish with persistent sweetness.
This wine is ideal for pairing with hearty dishes such as grilled meats, game with elaborately made sauces, and aged cheeses. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 16-18°C to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities.
With an alcohol content of 14%, Talò Primitivo di Manduria offers excellent value for money, making it a standout choice for those seeking an authentic winemaking experience from the Puglia region.
